Alec Baldwin has undergone weight loss after a diagnosis of pre-diabetes in 2011.
He has shed 30 lbs after his pre-diabetic diagnosis last year.
The well known actor drastically altered his eating habits upon hearing news of his condition.
A diagnosis of pre-diabetes means that the individual has certain yet not all of the criteria to be considered diabetic; this renders them susceptible to developing Type 2 diabetes.
The actor says that he gave up sugar and amazingly lost 30 pounds in four months.
He also started taking Pilates and spinning classes, as well as the occasional yoga class.
Another vital reason for 53 year old Alec's newfound lifestyle may be that he would like to have more children with his 27 year old girlfriend, a yoga instructor, called Hilaria Thomas.
The actor who was married to the beautiful Kim Basinger already has a teenage daughter with the actress.
